Electronics Development Engineer
Axminster, Devon (Hybrid)
£45,000 + Profit-based Bonuses + Pension + Life Insurance

Are you an Electronics Engineer with experience in developing electrical products? Are you looking to join a fantastic business in a rewarding industry?

Our business specialises in the manufacture and sales of electro-optical instruments for clinical and research applications globally. We have grown steadily since forming 40 years ago and are still thriving through this period of economic uncertainty. In order to keep up with demand and continue future growth, we are looking to strengthen our development team with the addition of an Electronics Development Engineer at our HQ in Axminister, Devon.

In this role, you will lead a product development from concept to production handover. You will work on analogue and digital circuit design, microprocessors, and Digital Signal Processing, whilst providing strong problem-solving skills and EMC compliance knowledge. You’ll work with schematic capture, PCB layout, embedded software, and hands-on testing. This is a role where you will be able to grow and develop but also be given autonomy and independence to showcase your skills and ability.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Electronics Engineer with experience in electrical product design, PCB’s, analogue and digital circuit design, microprocessors, DSP and EMC compliance knowledge. You will also need to be able to commute to Axminster.
