We hope you are as excited as us to be heading to Chicago soon for the largest gathering of Neuroscientists in the world, the annual Neuroscience — SfN meeting, now celebrating its 50th year! We have been attending for well over 25 years and will once again have a booth — #1900 — just to the right of the main entrance as you enter the hall.
Please stop by and learn more about our brand new and totally unique imager the moorO2Flo that combines blood flow with oxygen assessments in one package- a commercial world first!
Come and see our cutting edge laser speckle (LASCA) system the moorFLPI-2 for CSD visualization, MCAO stroke modelling, forepaw stimulations and brain trauma. We will have the system at our booth #1900 for live demonstrations.
If you have any spare time (and you should make sure you do have!) there is plenty to do in Chicago that you can’t do anywhere else. Eat some world class pizza, catch a hockey or basketball game or take a boat ride through the city. We enjoyed the architectural tour last time! A very relaxed way to see the sites from a unique angle away from the traffic and bustle.
The Chicago Blackhawks have two home games during SfN; vs. The Washington Capitals on Sunday night and vs. Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday. Even if you think you might not enjoy it, the atmosphere is always great and the home crowds are awesome!! Get your tickets beforehand!
We also know that Madonna has a 7 night run of her Madame X tour with a couple of performances during SfN. If that’s your thing try some resellers like tick picks or seat geek for tickets!
Finally – Pizza!! We’ve always favoured Lou Malnati’s on the corner of N Wells St and W Hubbard St…. Can’t go wrong!
Whatever you end up doing, enjoy SfN, The Science and Chicago…
