Please note that as of January 2010 the moorLDI2-BI will be supplied with the 633nm visible red measurement laser as standard for clinical burn assessments.

The moorLDI2-BI visible or infrared imager is a Class IIa device under EC directive 93\42EEC 14 June 1993 Medical Device Directive.

PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR REQUIREMENTS

All protective eyewear should be clearly identified as being suitable for use with the moorLDI2-BI-IR.

The nominal ocular hazard distance is 20 metres.

Operation at single wavelength infrared 785nm: wavelength range 755nm to 850nm, OD = 1.5.

COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS

Only computers complying with IEC 950 may be used.

The minimum recommended PC requirements for running the moorLDI2-BI software are:

200MHz processor; 128MB RAM, 10GB HDD, CD ROM, mouse, keyboard, RS232 or USB with RS232 to USB cable; 800 x 600 display.
Analogue Camera Model: A half length PCI card slot is required for the CCD video camera frame grabber board.
Firewire Camera Model: A half length PCI card slot or a PCMCIA slot is required for the CCD video camera Firewire interface card (this is not required if the PC supplied has an IEEE1394 port).

Operating system - Windows 2000 and XP.
