The Moor Instruments Skin Heating Unit (SH02™) provides simple and reproducible heating of one or two independent areas of skin tissue simultaneously.

The system allows accurate programming of target temperature between 20 and 45 degrees Centigrade.

Combined with Moor laser Doppler systems the unit can be used for investigations of blood perfusion over a range of skin temperatures. The laser Doppler probe is held within the heater head ensuring that measurements originate from the heated region of tissue.
