New, high resolution moorFLPI software released - now 1M pixels per square cm

The moorFLPI speckle contrast blood flow imager is an exciting new product for 2007 and has generated much interest. The key advantages of the system are fast aquisition rate (up to 25 blood flow images per second) and high spatial resolution.

Responding to early customer feedback on the new system we are proud to offer V2.0 software offering some new powerful measurement and analysis tools.

An exciting addition is high resolution mode, recording at a frame rate up to 1 per second and with a pixel density of 1 million pixels per square cm (10 micron resolution) for a fully zoomed image. It is expected this will open many new research opportunities for our customers.

It is now also possible to resize/ reposition the ROI windows during live measurement and the number of ROIs is increased up to five. This function allows you to plot, in real time, the average flow from each ROI. The traces are also time matched to the video file enabling you to view images and analyse flow changes simultaneously.

Enhanced analysis functions for video frame rate measurements include measurement markers and resampling. Repeat Image files can be generated from selected marked images and for any time interval of the video file.

It is expected these features will open many new research opportunities for our customers and is a free upgrade to all existing moorFLPI users.
