Job Title: Electronics/Physics Development Engineer: Due to continued growth, Moor Instruments is welcoming applications from talented personnel to join an experienced bio-medical electronics/optics design and development team working in collaboration with a University Research Department.
Location: Axminster, East Devon
Salary: Excellent Package depending on experience, Pension contribution and profit/ performance related bonus
Duration: Permanent (3 months probation period)
Education: Degree in Electronics or Physics with electronics.
Experience: experience of working in electronic/optic instruments design and development; practical experience of analogue and digital signal processing; practical experience of photo detectors, lasers and fibre optics.
Software experience of C/C++ programming for PC and embedded systems or programming using MatLab would be advantageous.
Description: The work involves the development and production of pre-production prototypes of unique, advanced medical electronics/optics instruments.
The successful candidate is expected to make a significant contribution to the projects and show initiative in design, problem solving and evaluation and testing of systems. He/she will be part of a small team of experienced bio-engineers, physicists and programmers and will work under the direction of the chief development engineer.
